Unfortunately I need to drive as public transport would take 3 times longer and I sometimes need to travel between sites with heavy equipment. I do manage to work from home a few days a week usually though

I used to be able to walk to work through a nice dog park which was the dream. Since moving to London though now I use the underground. The sights are less enjoyable.

I drive to work, although now the weather is nicer I might get my bike out of the shed and cycle in. It’s about a 5-10 minute drive for me.

Jane Moore-Taylor answered on 4 Jul 2023:
Three days a week a 5 metre walk from the kitchen to the dining table. The other two I have a 22 minute Tube journey and about 15 mins of cycling to/from the stations.
I used to drive but imminent ULEZ and onsite parking costs are getting daft and now I don’t have a school run to do any more, it was worth switching to the Tube.

Abi Attwell answered on 5 Jul 2023:
I used to get the bus to the hospital I used to work at – it arrived right outside my front door and only took 20 minutes!
Now I work at a different hospital, it is hard to get there by public transport, so I drive about 25 minutes at the moment. I hope to change that at some point as it is not so good for the environment! -
