It would have to be cats as a family we used to breed burmese and asians though having 6 or 7 kittens climbing up my trouser legs with sharp claws could be painful.
We need to resist all animals, and my favourite would have to be the Vole as it lives in soil and works hard and is underrated. I also think the earthworm is also an unsung hero as it is hidden for much of the time but works hard to keep our soils aerated and good for growing crops and filtering our water and air. We often forget about the less ‘cuddly’ animals and they keep our planet healthy as long as we retain our biodiversity.
