I went to University to study Geology but ended up loving anatomy and the human body. After my degree I trained as a teacher but jobs for biology ad science were too broad for my knowledge as I didn’t study Biology at A or O level. So combining my love of anatomy and interest in photography I trained and then worked as a clinical photographer. I love writing but also developing learning materials.
I have worked in Art &Design and now am in the College of Science and Engineering.
I have continued my interest in photography by photographing student and staff research projects.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and produce the journal Heritage Photography for the Archaeology & Heritage Special Interest Group.
