• Question: How does hypnotizing work on people, what causes people to be hypnotized?

      As far as I know there have been very few studies on hypnosis using physical techniques common to fields in biology, chemistry and physics. More it tends to be examined through psychological methods. This means that we don’t know the exact reason why people can become hypnotised. There are arguments the suggest that hypnosis is due to the subconscious mind but no physical evidence to support or dismiss it. Truth be, we just don’t know.
