Bruno Silvester Lopes answered on 1 Jul 2023:
I love learning scientific names. I was fascinated by it. As a young person, I had a unique gift of remembering these names and my cousins would be fascinated when I would tell what bananas, apple etc are called scientifically. I discovered my own set of bacteria and named them scientifically which was approved by the committee that oversees naming of bacterial names๐ you can read more of it on my profile.

I loved reading books, and I still do it now, but I don’t have as much time to read as I used to when I was younger. I remember reading The Witches when I was a child in about 3 hours. I wish I had time to sit for three hours and read a book from start to finish now ๐

I loved inventing new languages. My Dad used to tell us (me and my sister) made up stories about a family of martians who landed in our garden in their spaceship, and I created a language to use with them that was made up of colours instead of letters.

I loved reading. My mum said that I always had my nose in a book – my favourites were the Harry Potter series, and I can remember dragging my mum out to wait in the lines outside the shops every time a new book in the series was released!

I loved playing with my chemistry set – hence my interest in science.
I also liked cooking and sewing, as well as spending time with my family.
