      Everywhere!

Microorganisms include bacteria and many fungi. They grow pretty much anywhere, though many have very specialised environments, e.g. some bugs grow in volcanos at the bottom of the ocean.

Some fungi are dangerous because they contain toxins that poison the liver and brain.

They are needed for us to survive! I know weird! We need things like bacteria on our skin and inside your guts to keep us healthy! We don’t need all types though so make sure you wash your hands!! haha. Fungi are dangerous sometimes because they contain toxins which are harmful to humans but can be eaten by animals.
