No it isn’t. Our blood is red. Our blood is red because of a chemical called Haemoglobin. At the centre of haemoglobin is an atom of iron. Iron makes thing orange or red. When you see something metal rusting outside, it goes organgey colour. Our blood also tastes a little bit like metal because of the iron at the centre of the haemoglobin!
