Phenomenal question. The answer is yes, maybe, sometimes and it might not be!!!! If someone has a lack of sleep, it might make it harder for them to concentrate and to pay attention to the exam. It also makes it harder for them to think clearly and remember the answers. Not having enough sleep can make your memory worse, and also make you a lot more emotional and not able to think straight. That means that in an exam, you might get upset about not being able to answer too, more easily than if you had sleep. This is a big problem as children and teenagers sometimes don’t get enough sleep and so we need to try and work out the best way for this to change! We want everyone to be able to do their best in exams and at school. We might even have to make everyone go to school later in the day so they work better and you can get a good nights sleep. This is a really good question Moizy.
