It is challenging because you must work well in a team and have good written and verbal communication skills. Often if your work is lab-based, it can require long working time, and if you work on a crime scene, you may have to work extra shifts or even work on weekends.

Oooh there’s so many facets to this question! You can interpret this as “is the subject area complex”, and the answer to that would be it depends upon your area of work, but the higher you go and the more expert you become, the more difficult it becomes! You could also be referring to job effort and potential obstacles. As Laura says, sometimes there are long and unsocial working hours and CSIs in particular, have a very demanding role, but all of these issues can be overcome with a positive attitude and a passion for the subject!

It is challenging, and sometimes difficult, but its teamwork, apart form the day you give evidence, when you stand alone.
