I started studying forensics in 2005, gaining my degree in 2009 and going straight onto a PhD. I took a few years break to have children and went back in 2014 and started all over again! I’m nearly done now…phew! But in terms of general work, I started working when I was in year 7!

Charlie Frowd answered on 14 Jan 2023:
Good morning
Thank you for your question. I did a degree in Psychology and then a PhD that led to the EvoFIT system being created. I’ve worked at University of Central Lancashire in Preston for about 20 years now, teaching, developing EvoFIT and working with police and witnesses and victims of crime. It’s such an exciting job!
With best regards
Charlie.

I came back to university to do my PhD in 2010, so I’ve been working in computer vision for 13 years now, and I started working in identification methodology about 8 years ago.
