• Question: Why do you think this is a good way to spend your prize money?

      I think it’s important to tell as many people as possible about marine wildlife and the problems they face with habitat destruction, climate warming, pollution and species extinction (amongst other problems!) I don’t think it’s enough to read about it in a book or watch a short film about it. I believe that speaking directly with scientists that are working on solving some of these issues is so crucial. This will allow us to highlight the passion we have for this work and to answer any questions people may have. It makes it all more real! At the end of the day, the science we do is for you, for all people.
