The chicken egg or the chicken which came first? My answer is the chicken egg.
Say in humans if a male with brown eyes and a female with brown eyes had a blue eyed baby, they are both making something “new” that doesn’t look like either of them. I think the same happened with chickens. So a bird very much like a chicken but not actually a chicken and another bird like a chicken but not a chicken had an egg, which grew up to be the very first chicken. -

it depends on what type of egg you mean, if you mean egg in general then the egg came first and through evolution we finally got the chicken. If you look back at dinosaurs etc they produce eggs and were around before chickens
