We haven’t found any life on Mars yet, but the job of the new Perseverance rover and Rosalind Franklin rover is to look for life!

Things that living things on Earth need, like water and oxygen, have been found in very small amounts of Mars, so it is possible things live there. It is thought that there was even more water on Mars in the past, so maybe things don’t live there now, but they might have done in the past. Maybe the rovers will find fossils!

If the rovers do find anything it is likely to be tiny germs, not little green people!
