    What is this exhibit?:

Meet Neil and the human brain in this video

The Brain Zone is a wonderful place to learn more about that squishy mass in your head that controls everything you do! Take part in real experiments, confuse your brain with some optical illusions or delve into all the different areas of your brain to find out how this amazing organ makes a human being function every second of the day!

Why should you vote for this exhibit?: Because our brains are everything and without it you couldn't even vote, so let it know you care by voting for Brain Zone!

    What is this exhibit?:

Meet Lauren and the Climate Sphere in this video

The Sphere is a giant globe that shows videos on it’s surface and can spin around to show the beauty of Earth from every angle!

Satellite data from space and scientific measurements on Earth are used to create the maps and videos that show how temperature, sea levels and ice cover have changed over time. This is a view of our planet that no-one else has in the North East!

Why should you vote for this exhibit?: It's really important we all work together to combat climate change and save our planet, so why not show your support by voting for this exhibit!

    What is this exhibit?:

Meet Jake and Masiakasaurus in this video

Masiakasaurus was a dinosaur that lived in Madagascar around 70 million years ago, and had a really unusual, curved jaw that helped it catch its prey. Despite being a cousin of the enormous T. rex, Masiakasaurus was only about as big as a dog (our model is actually twice the size of the real dinosaur!)

You can meet Masiakasaurus, along with lots of other dinosaurs and extinct creatures, in our new Brick Dinos exhibit. Take a journey back in time to a prehistoric world, and come face-to-face with some of the largest and most fantastic animals that ever walked the Earth!

Why should you vote for this exhibit?: Dinosaurs and LEGO®, what’s not to love?

  • Hayley and the Mars Rover

    What is this exhibit?:

Meet Hayley and the Mars Rover in this video

If you were born after 1997 there have been robots exploring Mars for your entire life, and our exhibit shows you a model of one of these robots! It has solar panels, receivers and 6 wheels, just like the real rovers. Our rover is controlled from a screen in another part of Space Zone. This means you can’t see the rover when you are controlling it, just like the robot drivers cannot see the rover on Mars. One job of the robots is to find out what the conditions on Mars are like, so that maybe one day humans can visit!

Why should you vote for this exhibit?: Mars is a fascinating planet that maybe you will be one of the first humans to visit!
