Question: I like to ask when was the moon discovered

The moon is the biggest and brightest thing visible in the night time sky, so people have known about it for thousands of years. We don’t know who the first person to see it was!

The moon is the furthest place that humans have ever been, 12 people have walked on its surface. The first person on the moon was Neil Armstrong and he visited back in 1969.

The moon is called the moon because we didn’t know that other planets also have moons until 1610 when Galileo Galilei pointed his telescope towards Jupiter!
