Question: How long did it take to build the Mars rover?

I don’t know the exact time taken to build all of the rovers, but it takes years. The rovers need to be designed, built, tested, changed, built again and tested again! Scientists and Engineers working on the rovers need to make sure everything works perfectly before sending the rovers to Mars as if anything goes wrong they can’t just pop up and fix it. The rovers can only be sent to Mars every 26 months (when Earth and Mars are at their closest) so everything needs to be timed well.
