That really depends how to define ‘largest’. The tallest dinosaur was Giraffatitan, which was about 12m tall, while the longest dinosaur was Argentinosaurus, which was about 30m long. Both of them were long-necked, plant eating dinosaurs that probably looked a bit like a Diplodocus. Scientists are always finding new species of dinosaurs though, so it’s possible that even bigger species are still buried in the ground, just waiting to be found by future palaeontologists!
