      Francis Crick and James Watson are my favourite – they discovered DNA! A lot of my research wouldn’t be happening without that discovery.

      From the past… Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo was a master of topographic anatomy – and contributed a lot of knowledge to the world of anatomy. Whilst he was not the only scientist and artist of his time to do that, he was one of the most well known and caught my attention as a young girl. I am very fond of his work.

      Einstein – amazing and liberal chap. I like what he stood for as a scientist.

      Modern day. Professor Stafford Lightman. A world leader in stress research. Professor Lightman has helped revolutionise how we think about stress.
