About the Stress Zone

What pops into your head when you think about stress? Homework? Sports? Is it something positive or negative? Does stress affect your body, your mind, or both? We all know what stress feels like. Racing heart, sweaty palms, tense muscles – the whole shebang. Beneath these feelings is an interplay of stimulus (stressor) and response (stress) affecting nearly every system in the body.

This zone is for people working science trying to better understand how stress works in our bodies, and finding ways to deal better with its effects.
