  What a good question! I work in the lab a lot, and it’s different to when you are at school or uni because we are doing things that nobody else has done before, and sometimes they don’t work. This can be really frustrating and take a while to fix, so sometimes it takes a lot of effort. However, it’s so rewarding when you finally get things to work, it makes it all worth it in the end, even if it is difficult at the time.

  Dealing with people is pretty hard, but i suppose in every job it would be the same!

  difficult people ………. can be a bit of a challenge……… but I like to get along with others so I work at better understanding them. Like Livia, I suspect most people who work in any job might say the same.

  Trying to get funding. This economic climate doesn’t favour science at the moment!
