GREAT question! I give money to charity when I can, and whenever I go shopping I always buy a few extra things to give to my local food bank. I am also careful not to waste food. There are many important things to contribute to in the world, and it can be hard to make a decision about which. Most of my volunteering has been in mental health, though I hope, in the future, to do more positive work in more areas. My research is about developing empathy for others (even people very far away) so I hope I may be able to find ways to apply this to worthwhile causes.

Hi 🙂 Wow, if I’m honest with you, I’ve got to say nothing really! It’s one of these issues that seems so overwhelming that I wouldn’t know where on earth to start! That said, although I don’t know about it, I try to support those scientists who are working to try to develop new foods and new technologies to help people in developing countries. These scientists can face a lot of opposition believe it or not so I try to defend them and educate people so they are able to get on with their jobs of helping solve world hunger!
