Question: Do you believe in love at first sight?

Yes. But what people are falling in love with is the interesting bit. In reality, it’s impossible to “know” someone based upon first impressions alone – that takes time, a lengthy process of getting to know each other, and shared intimacy. So, I think when we feel that we have fallen in love with someone “at first sight” we have fallen in love with what we “think” they are, what they represent, or something about them that connects with something inside us – we haven’t fallen in love with THEM – we’ve fallen in love with an IDEA of them.
