Hi- I wasn’t sure until I was in the third year of my degree and I did my research project, then I just felt like I was good at it and it made sense to me. I definitely had an interest before and knew I wanted to work clinically with people. I looked at so many options, social work for example while doing my degree.

I picked psychology as I worked with young people while doing my A levels and ended up reporting a safeguarding issue I encountered, it was really important to me to continue working with people to prevent these problems occurring.

I wanted to do medicine before but didn’t think I would get in so I looked at alternatives and fell in love with psychology. During my undergrad I found a passion for research and from there I just kept following my passion
