I really love evolutionary psychology – we’re able to start understanding why people do certain things based on our history as a species!

I love cognitive psychology (looking at processes such as attention and memory) so that’s one of my favourites. But I’m also a big fan of applied psychology, so looking at how we can apply psychology to the world around us – it’s everywhere when you start looking! My favourite is watching reality tv and thinking about how we can see different social psychology concepts in action. For example, I loved watching The Traitors last year and thinking about how it showed us great examples of how people play to roles and labels they’ve been given 😊

I love clinical and health psychology, and especially when the two come together. So for example, how can the experiences of an illness or condition affect our mental state?
