My Work:
I am a mental health researcher looking at how physical and mental health interact, as well as how things like COVID-19 and climate change affect mental health.
-
My Typical Day:
My first task of the day is to get my 15 month old daughter ready for the day with the childminder. I then either work at home or head into the office. My working day mostly consists of meeting students who I am supervising, meeting with colleagues to discuss research plans, analysing data, writing emails, going to seminars and writing up papers. I leave around 4.30pm to pick up my daughter from the childminder.
