• Question: what is the most dangerous thing you have done?

      Other than scuba diving, and rewiring the odd plug, I don’t think I’ve ever really done anything that’s actually dangerous! Moving to a foreign country without a job lined up was probably the scariest thing I’ve done, but it was a decision we came to after a lot of thought and discussion. Maybe I should re-evaluate my life and plan some more adventurous activities like parachute jumping or rodeo riding 🙂

      I’ve done many dangerous things, and will not comment on all of them! Recently though, I cycled through a dangerous cross-road that I did not know well enough, and I did not pay enough attention to what could come from all directions. I nearly got hit by a lorry! I’m not normally a careless cyclist but I was rightly told otherwise by another driver who was nearby!

      Hmm, good question! I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro a few years ago. It took 4 days and was extremely scary but an amazing experience!
      I also went cage diving with sharks – again, terrifying but I loved it!
      I also did a skydive to raise money for charity 🙂 all of them were amazing experiences, but not quite science-related.
