Question: Hey Nicolas, I don't know if this sounds crazy, but one night I was watching the Perseids and I saw quick flash, very very small, but I thought it could've been something like a black hole forming. There were no airplanes or anything besides the stars and Meteors. (I don't think it was a meteor, it had no tail) If you have any information on what this could be, I would love to know. Thanks :)

  Hi Peter, it doesn’t sound crazy at all, but it’s probably something else. Difficult to say! In any case, no one has observed a black hole forming, but numerical simulations would not suggest that a quick small flash as you describe could be observed.
