• Question: did you originally want to become a scientist?

      I’ve long been fascinated by scientists, say from the age of 12 or so, when I started to read about great scientists like Einstein, Marie Curie, … Actually I remember how much I loved reading about Copernic when I was in primary school at the age of 10: it was even more exciting to realise that we shared the same first name!
      What I found fascinating was to see how much their discoveries changed the way we understand things, while at the same time they were completely normal human beings, with their doubts, problems, and all the highs and lows of normal people.
