      I think it will be cheaper ways to provide healthcare to the world – at present drug discovery is expensive and hopefully we can find ways of reducing this so it can be more readily available for all

      I really hope that it will be the nuclear fusion!
      It will solve basically all the energetic problems of the world, and it could be combined with the other renewable sources to finally give us a complete alternative to oil.
      Considering that it will also help the global warming accordingly, it might as well save the world when it’s achieved!

      Well if we knew in advance what we would be discovering, it would not be that fun!

      I don’t know. But I hope something which can change radically the way we deal with some things, such as the energy problems, or the healthcare, as mentioned by Giuditta and Craig. But if I am allowed to hope and dream of something I want, I would really enjoy teletransportation!
