Oh, that is a tricky one, you must have watched Interstellar!
No information escapes a black hole, therefore even if we could send something in (and the something survives the huge pressure from gravity it will be subject to), there is no way we could ever get any contact from inside the black hole to reach us here outside and tell us how it looks like.
But again, no information escapes a black hole! Therefore, the black hole is full of information, and the amount of information hidden in a black hole is also proportional to its size! How this information looks like inside the black hole is a much harder question, which we can’t really have proven answers. So you are free to imagine whatever you like!
Oh, this is a really interesting question, especially because I get most frustrated about this when I studied astronomy and astrophysics!
As Flavia said, at some point the attraction of the Black Hole is so big that not even light can travel out the boundary called “the Event Horizon”, so it doesn’t matter how much we try, there will be nothing coming out to give us information about the inside!
What I think, and I am of course unable to proof, is that nothing past the Event Horizon is still in a “massive” form, it probably gets decomposed to pure energy for the black hole to keep sustaining its huge mass in a really small dimension.
But who knows, maybe the “funnel” in the space time that a black hole represent opens in a parallel universe as something that emits matter, or maybe at some point, as the universe gets older, a black hole will “die” and throw back off a load of stuff!
