• Question: Is it possible to harvest the earths magnetic core for metals?

      Well almost all of the metal we use comes from underground – but not from the core. The molten core (where the magnetic field is generated) is a really long way down, so it would probably be too difficult to get there – and even if we could, it’s way too hot! So maybe, someday, but not anytime soon.
