We can’t create a black hole which can be sustained at the LHC. If (and this is a very big if) some theories on extra spatial dimensions are correct, and we were able to create a microscopic black hole at the LHC, such a quantum black hole would disappear instantly, and we would never be able to see it – only its products which would be generated by the process of evaporating (we call it Hawking radiation). So the way to study them would not be sustaining them, but to analyse the particles it irradiates when disappearing.
