• Question: Do you get to travel alot for your job?

      Yes! Last year I got to work in London (UK), Kyoto (Japan), Gottingen (Germany), Boulder (Colorado, USA), and visited a whole bunch of other countries, too. This is one of the best things about being a scientist, because there’s no one place which is better or worse for science, so the community is very much a global one.
