Question: could you invent magnetic clothes

Having a piece of clothes that is totally magnetic would be really hard!

The main issue is that everything that you wear is usually made of really light and non-magnetic chemicals (cotton is basically a sugar, synthetic fibers are a sort of plastic, wool is mostly a protein) that are all based mostly on Carbon, Oxygen and Hydrogen. They are all really light, really common elements of the periodic table, but they are not well-suited for magnetism!
The elements that you use for magnets are much heavier and extremely less fluffy!

I could most certainly design magnetic clothes appliances, though! Like using magnets instead of buttons, or bits of your clothes that will interact magnetically with other stuff.
You will just need to make sure not to get caught from everything metallic around you 😛
