      To my knowledge, nobody is exactly sure why we dream (it’s a tough question and lots of people are working on it!). But there are lots of theories that neuroscientists have. For example, some think we might dream to process the information that our brains have gathered throughout the day and store our experiences as memories.

      From a spycho-analyst point of view, Sigmund Freud concluded that it is a way for the mind to digest and organise all your past experiences.
      From a religious perspective, it is a way through which non-material entities can communicate with you.
      From a scientific perspective, it is like consciousness, we can’t really explain it.
