      Fundamentally, everything is made up of atoms. The atoms in viruses are mostly carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus.

      What makes a virus work though is the structures these atoms make up. A virus structure is made of and it carries the genes of the virus which is called RNA.
