0 Question: Does it rain diamonds in Jupiter? Keywords: Jupiter, space Asked by anon-269607 on 12 Nov 2020.

It’s possible, but not entirely certain: https://www.nature.com/news/diamond-drizzle-forecast-for-saturn-and-jupiter-1.13925
But diamonds can form in space in different ways. Even certain stars could have diamonds in them if carbon is compressed enough.

Some studies seem to indicate that the conditions in storms on Jupiter’s atmosphere can make diamonds! It’s pretty cool how new materials can be made in extreme conditions.
