      @pakistani guy, Ghosts could be real for some and not the other. you may feel the presence of a love lost one and certainly think that he/she influences happenings around you. I used to feel that my late Dad, was an invincibly hand molding my way and influencing certain things when i was younger but i don’t anymore.

      yes of course, Shakespeare wrote about a ghost in Hamlet, or was it just fiction? A theatre play even?

      Having said this, you can see ghosts under a microscope. Ghost cells, to be precise. Not a joke! Ghost cells exist!

      As a scientist I like to see things as possible and look for evidence for and against them being true; for me there isn’t enough evidence that ghosts are real to be convincing and I certainly haven’t seen any headless horsemen or people-like ghosts wandering around castles at night, but who knows…

      Depends on how you define ghost. You could possibly argue quite successfully that our memories are ghosts. You can’t touch them, they are conjoured out of who-knows what and what is it that causes us to experience them in the first person?

      Hi pakistani guy, it depends… another question on top of whether they are real is that, iffffff they were real, can we detect them? Are our brain or our equipment suitable for detecting ghost? And how do we know that we detect really the ghost not random noise in the air? And if we cannot detect them, do they really not exist or just escape our detection? … that can go on and on like a paradox.

      but, talking about sleep paralysis, where people sometimes wake up and report seeing ghosts or demons, that has quite a well-explained scientific reasons and it’s all about how our brain work while we sleep.
