I’ve never really come across human brains except in museums where you weren’t allowed to touch them but animal brains are definitely squidgy so I assume ours are too!
Our brains are made up of cells, which don’t have a cell wall like plant cells do. Unlike plants, which have fairly hard and more resilient structures (think of stems and treetrunks, for instance) the cells of animals, including humans, are softer and ‘squidgier’ to the touch. I’ve never touched a brain either, but having cut up a liver in some biology class leads me to believe that a brain is also quite soft and squidgy.
