That depends on what you mean by the world ending!
If you mean when humans go extinct: other living creatures will take over the world after us. Just like life kept on going after the dinosaurs disappeared, it will keep on going after we disappear. The difference is that we are very well-adapted to live in the world as it is today. The life that comes after us will be better-adapted to live in the world of the future.
If you mean when everything on Earth goes extinct: it will most likely just keep on going as an empty ball of rock after that. Many celestial bodies (a word for objects in space: planets, dwarf planets, asteroids, and more) are balls of rock and ice and chemicals with no life on them, and that is most likely what Earth will become when all life vanishes.
If you mean when the planet itself is destroyed: this will probably happen when our Sun grows very large and becomes a “red giant” (meaning a very big, very bright, but not very hot star). Scientists aren’t sure of this – some think this will destroy the Earth and others don’t – but, eventually, the planets close to the Sun will probably be swallowed up by it as it grows and cools. This happens to other stars all the time, so we know what it looks like – but it won’t happen to our Sun for billions of years.
