Question: What is best for swinging? Spider web or rope?

Spider silk is much stronger than ordinary rope, so it is much better for swinging. You just have to make sure you use a thick enough spider-silk rope to support the weight of a human being, because we are obviously much heavier than spiders!

The reason we don’t already use spider-silk rope is because we haven’t figured out how to make a lot of it at once, so it is very expensive. Rope is much cheaper. One day, scientists hope to be able to make lots of artificial spider silk, and then we can use it for all sorts of things.
