Question: are you close to finding a cure for cancer

This is a very good question and also a difficult one to answer. Mostly because we don’t just have one cancer but rather lots of different types of cancers. Even the same type of cancer can grow in a different way in different people. This all depends on our genetics and any changes to our DNA that happen throughout our lives. The new kinds of drugs that we use for cancer are designed so that they can attack the cells with specific changes in their DNA and that can be very effective at treating some cancers. But for other types of cancer we still don’t have a cure and sadly we can’t yet help all of the patients. But there are a lot of new drugs that are being tested every day and I’m hoping that we are getting closer to being able to treat every type of cancer very soon.
