Definitely, but probably a bit too much for my own good! I definitely do better with a friend to rein me in. It’s why I tend to ask for advice first before doing anything, to get another perspective.
Not particularly – I tend to be the one doing the reining in, except for the rare occasions when I find myself with someone even more risk-averse than me (sometimes it’s my wife) and realise it can be fun to go out on a limb, especially when someone else doesn’t want you to!
I think I take calculated risks in some cases, but I’m also pretty cautious – so I”ll go mountain biking but if something scares me too much, I’ll hop off and walk. Broken bones aren’t worth it!

I’m rather conservative. I like to stay with what’s safe but on the other hand I don’t agree with never changing anything because ‘we’ve always done it that way’. That’s not a reason!
