• Question: Will we ever be able to travel at the speed of light?

      Probably not – it seems to me that everything starts going mad in all sorts of weird ways when you go anywhere near that fast! I’m not a physicist, but the guy who writes a blog/cartoon called xkcd kind of is, and he once tried to work out what would happen if someone threw a baseball at 90% the speed of light – not even the full 671 million mph. It doesn’t work out well for any of the players… or the crowd… or the city, really. Have a read of his answer here https://what-if.xkcd.com/1/
