• Question: When matter and antimatter meet, they destroy one another into nothing. But I thought matter could not be created nor destroyed?

      Good question! Very thoughtful!

      Energy and matter are equivalent (you might have seen E=mc^2 around, which expresses this). So you could also say energy cannot be created or destroyed. When antimatter and matter come together, the total mass energy is conserved. A lot of the time they emit gamma ray photons.
