Question: The other question concern the long term consequences like after years of drinkink alcohol can someone become blind ? thank you for your help !

Hi Alex,
Some people make booze themselves and they don’t do it very well.
Instead of ethanol, which is what should be made, they come up with another type of alcholo, called methanol.
This is the alchohol that most commonly causes blindness by destroying the optic nerve – the bit that connects your eyes to your brain.
But even ethanol gets into every part of your body and causes damage, so it can also cause blindness and brain damage if to much is drunk.
So I’d recommend not ever drinking too much of that either when you reach drinking age!
