• Question: If a baby’s leg pops out at 11:59PM but his head doesn’t come out until 12:01, which day was he born on?

      I don’t know how this is handled in hospitals but my feeling is the whole baby has to be out for it to count, i.e. in this case I’d say they were born on the 2nd day.

      I agree with Nina. You’re not born until you’re completely out! But, I’m not a midwife or doctor so I could be wrong 😛

      I agree with the others – I reckon you’re born when you’re all out, so the child’s birthday would be the second day 🙂
