      Gunpowder is the main ingredient of fireworks.

      When you mix it with different metals, you get the different colours.
      Just like in your chemistry class, you or your teacher might have put different metals into a bunsen burner and you’ll have seen they change the flame different colours depending on the metal.
      For example, magnesium glows white, copper glows blue, barium goes green.

      I found this slightly oldschool video that explains how they’re made, but don’t try this at home!
      This stuff is super easy to get hurt with.
