Sadly no one person can stop it, but if all of us try we can probably make a big difference together. Some things we can do are:
– be careful with the transport we use (not driving or flying unnecessarily, for example)
– think about the food we eat (trying to avoid things that have a large carbon footprint or which rely on ingredients that cause deforestation)
– recycle and use energy from renewable sources, and finally
– encourage others (including governments and businesses) to do the same
Even then, we’ll still need to make sure we help people who are affected by the climate changes that are already happening – this matters now, not just for the future, and it’s great that you’re asking the question 🙂
Like Oli says, and a couple of things we can do personally:
-Try to cut down on eating meat, especially beef – the film cowspiracy is a good watch!
-Try to use public transport more.
-Cycle places (but always wear a helmet – your brain needs protection)!
-Ask your parents to switch to a greener energy supplier!
