Ah… a fan of Breaking Bad! Unfortunately not… I guess my first experience of a TV-based scientist was Mr. Spock in the original series of Star Trek. He might have been my favourite back then. However, my real favourite scientist is probably James Clerk Maxwell. Einstein considered Maxwell one of the giants of Physics and our modern electronic communications based world would not likely exist if Maxwell hadn’t do his work on electromagnetic radiation.

The best scientist on TV ever is Farnsworth from Futurama.

Okay, he’s a doddering old man, but he does what he likes, when he likes, walks into a room and takes charge and doesn’t care too hoots about what anyone else thinks.

When something goes wrong he knows whats happened, why its happened, and sends someone else off to go fix it.

      The guy is a boss!

Walter White did a great job, doing chemistry in an RV. Trouble was that he was selfish and it was just about making money.
      Not my hero
Imagine the breakthroughs if someone with those skills applied them to improving . lives rather than exploiting weakness

I liked Walter White’s attention to detail but he is not my favourite scientist. I feel more connected to Bunsen and Beaker from the Muppets despite their lack of safety protocols they were not afraid to make mistakes or try something new!
